Renault has revealed its new Twingo Gordini RenaultSport, complete with the famous two-white-stripe design.
The Twingo Gordini RenaultSport features a blue metallic finish, plus two white racing stripes, in keeping with tradition. The front and rear bumpers get gloss black centre sections, while the fog lamp surrounds, exterior door mirror housings and rear tailgate spoiler have a contrasting white finish.
This styling package is rounded off by 17″ alloy wheels with a polished face and a choice of the inner rim finished in either blue or black.
Inside the car features RenaultSport seats with quilted leather upholstery, a leather covered steering wheel, a blue gearlever gaiter, a blue rev counter, leather door panel inserts and a leather-trimmed dashboard cowl.
The Twingo Gordini RenaultSport will make its public debut on January 10 2010, at the Atelier Renault on the Champs-Elysees in Paris.
In addition to the existing Renaultsport version the Gordini includes automatic climate-control, automatic headlamp activation, automatic wiper activation, cruise control, speed limiter, fully disconnectable ESP, a 80W radio-CD with fingertip steering wheel-mounted remote control, MP3 playback and separate display, iPod connectivity, an extra-tinted rear windows and individual sliding rear seats.
Gordini customers can specify the Cup chassis with lower ride-height, stiffer springs and dampers, Bluetooth, curtain airbags, a panoramic sunroof and a special key fob and carpet mats.
Prices will be announced nearer the time of the launch in the UK in March.
