Bulletstorm, the game from Painkiller developers, People Can Fly, will be releasing on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC next February, but it looks like publisher Epic Games and Microsoft will be teaming up to provide an early look at Gears of War 3.
Bundled with the “Epic Edition” of Bulletstorm will be an access code to the Gears of War 3 multiplayer beta early next year. GoW3 was originally intended to launch next April but has been pushed back to meet holiday shopping needs 2011.
The beta should serve as a test for Epic’s new infrastracture using dedicated servers instead of the peer-to-peer networking that runs the Gears of War games today.
Bulletstorm will be out February 22, 2011 on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
